St. Landry Parish President Jessie Bellard is proposing the parish buy the former Indian Hills Country Club in Opelousas and turn it into a sports complex.
The Parish Council heard the proposal in a special meeting on Sept. 4 and will hear it again at its regular meeting on Wednesday.
