The Eunice Community Nature Trail is to receive $400,000 in COVID-related funds to rehabilitate the walking trail.
Mayor Scott Fontenot announced the grant awarded by Gov. John Bel Edwards following a meeting Thursday to set the agenda for Tuesday’s 6:30 p.m. Board of Aldermen meeting.
Fontenot said the asphalt track will be replaced with a wider 6-foot wide concrete track.
