Council approves Bellard budget

    The St. Landry Parish Council approved a 2025 parish budget on an 8-4 vote as submitted by Parish President Jessie Bellard at its meeting on Wednesday. Voting for the budget were Council members Faltrey Jolivette, Mildred Thierry, Alvin Stelly, Vivian Olivier, Dexter Brown, Jimmie Edwards and Ernest Blanchard.
