The St. Landry Parish Council was told by an attorney it hired that an investigation into how Parish President Jessie Bellard fired employees may proceed.
Attorney Gary McGoffin handed out a judgment document at Wednesday’s Administrative-Finance Committee meeting that stated Council may act under the authority of an ordinance passed in May.
