Acadiana Crime Lab officials said their facility in New Iberia is in need of a major upgrade, but did not ask for any financial help from the St. Landry Parish Council.
Kevin Ardoin, lab director, and Chester Cedars, president of the Lab’s commission and St. Martin Parish president, spoke at the Council’s Wednesday meeting.
Chad Pitre, St. Landry Parish district attorney, introduced the two men.
