A meeting on a proposed animal control ordinance for St. Landry Parish drew two people. That’s compared to at least 30 people at a similar meeting in Opelousas.
Parish President Jessie Bellard thinks the Aug. 11 Eunice meeting crowd size was a result of not as many animal problems on the west side of the parish.
