The early voting pace in St. Landry Parish is on pace to exceed that of four years ago when there was another national presidential race that time Donald Trump versus Joseph Biden.
As of Thursday, early voting in the parish totaled 9,220 for an average of 1,537 votes per day. If that continues the 10-day voting period would result in more than 15,000 votes cast.
