Eunice Players Theater opens children’s production Friday

The Eunice Players Theater is pleased to announce its upcoming Children Production of “Once Upon A Fairy Tale” to be held on July 28-30 and Aug. 3-6.
Evening performances are scheduled for 7 and Sunday matinees are scheduled for 2 p.m. All performances will be held at the theater located a 121 S. 2nd St. Eunice.
Based in a mythical kingdom, beautiful baby Princess Rose has had a curse placed on her by her wicked witch aunt. Fast forward a few years, and Princess Rose is turning 21 and must marry to inherit the throne of her parents. But evil Aunt Beullah will do everything in her power to prevent that from happening. And besides, where will one find someone to marry a princess with a curse placed on her? Add a Magic mirror, some trolls and a number of possible suitors, and you have the recipe for a hilarious tale of mayhem and merriment.
Young people from throughout the Acadiana region have been fully engaged in their rehearsals to bring you a wonderful production that will have tears rolling down your face from laughter.
Tickets are on sale at $15 door for an adult ticket and $10 for those under 18. Tickets may be purchased at Beaucoup, 114 S. 2nd St. in Eunice, or by going to the Theater’s new website at www.euniceplayerstheater.com and go to Events.
The play, written by Christopher Burutto, is being produced by special arrangement with Brookly.
