There is reason to celebrate, the Eunice Public Library entered a new chapter in July as it became part of the state library system.
Dr. Anthony Baltakis, president of the Eunice Library Board of Control, spoke at the Board of Aldermen meeting on Aug. 8.
Baltakis said he served on the Eunice-Opelousas library board before it was dissolved in 2019.
