St. Landry Parish President Jessie Bellard announced that Eunice resident Van Reed’s role in parish government has been expanded.
The announcement came during Sen. Billy Cassidy’s visit to Eunice on Wednesday.
Reed will continue as director of emergency preparedness, but he will oversee several other departments.
