Eunice weathered Hurricane Ida without significant damage

Eunice weathered Hurricane Ida without any reported significant damage. “We fared probably the best you can possibly fare when you’ve got a hurricane that hits Louisiana that size,” Eunice Mayor Scott Fontenot said. “Everything was good in town.” But Fontenot added, “I’m heartbroken for people in southeastern Louisiana.
