Rising fuel prices are taking a toll on the St. Landry Parish Government budget, but Parish President Jessie Bellard said there’s more to the story.
“Keep in mind that we are doing more work than we ever did before,” he said. “Whenever that happens it is going to cost more money.”
At a Public Works Committee meeting on July 6 Bellard was asked about the impact of fuel prices on road maintenance.
