Laura Rougeau Garcille won the three-way race for Division B 27th Judicial District judge in Saturday’s election.
Garcille won with 1,610 votes — 57% — in the tally posted on geauxvote.com.
Coming in second was Jessica Wimberly Marchand with 655 votes, 23%, and in third place was Caleb Kent Aguillard with 536 votes, 19%.
The election district represents western St. Landry Parish to Opelousas.
