A rain on Tuesday that flooded Eunice streets brought back memories of a historic deluge in August 2016.
“The last time I’ve seen some of these streets all with water on them — with a lot of water on them – was 2016 when we had that big flood and that was different because we ended up with 16 inches of rain,” Eunice Mayor Scott Fontenot said.
