The Tri-Parish workforce declined by 356 people in August compared to August 2022, according to a Louisiana Workforce Commission report released Tuesday.
The workforce totaled 67,253 in August, down 0.5% from the 67,609 counted in August 2022.
The workforce count includes those employed and those looking for a job.
