Tri-Parish unemployment rates tumbled in October and the workforce rose to 68,181, according to data released by the Louisiana Workforce Commission on Wednesday.
Louisiana’s not seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is again at a record low. The October not seasonally adjusted rate is 3.1%, 0.4 percentage points lower than the September figure of 3.5%, which had been the prior record.
