BASILE–On Saturday, July 22, the members of the Acadia/Evangeline Fire Protection District were called out to the home of the Neal Leger and Janice Arnold family at approximately 5 p.m., for a fire caused by a lightning strike at 1022 Pelican Loop, northeast of the Basile town limits.
