Keep Eunice Beautiful plans to join the Keep Louisiana Beautiful Leaders Against Litter event on Friday.
Donna Baltakis, Keep Eunice Beautiful director, is organizing the Eunice event.
This is the third year for the Eunice group to participate in the event, Baltakis said in an email.
Participants are asked to meet at City Hall at 8:30 a.m. Friday to sign in, receive a T-shirt, bag and assignment for up to 20 minutes of litter pick up.
“Then they return to the city hall lobby to turn in their trash, sign the pledge board (that will remain in the lobby all year), and have something to eat. They should be out of there by 10,” she wrote.

Nungesser released a letter that stated volunteers removed 25,000 pounds of trash during Leaders Against Litter over the past three years.
