Mardi Gras schedule released

The Eunice Cajun Mardi Gras Festival in Eunice has announced its Mardi Gras schedule.
The Mardi Gras festivities is a five-day celebration. All bands and live entertainment will take place at stages set up at South 2nd and Walnut streets (Fred Charlie Stage) and on South 2nd Street and Park Avenue (Liberty Stage).
Beginning Friday, Feb. 28, there will be live band performances. At 6 p.m. on the Liberty Stage, Bubba Hebert & Buddy Andrews will perform and at 6:30 p.m. the Adam Leger Band will be on hand.
Wayne Toups will perform Friday, Feb. 28 at 9 p.m. at the Liberty Stage.
On Saturday, March 1 beginning at 10 a.m. on the Liberty Stage, Cameron Fontenot & The Rythm Aces will play and Lukas Meaux & Cajun Heat will perform. At 12 noon, on the Fred Charlie Stage, JoJo Reed will perform and at 1 p.m. the Lakeview Playboys will be on hand on the Fred Charlie Stage.
At 1:30 p.m. Rusty Metoyer & The Zydeco Krusch will perform on the Liberty Stage.
At 3 p.m. The Lil Mardi Gras parade will be coming into town from their run. The parade will be happening from North 2nd and will travel along downtown 2nd street, onto Park Avenue.
At 3:30 p.m. The Basile Mardi Gras presentation will happen for the public.
At 4 p.m. Fred Charlie & The Acadiana Cajuns will perform on the Fred Charlie Stage and Wayne Singleton & Same Ol’ 2 Step will be on hand on the Liberty Stage for the public’s entertainment.
At 6 p.m., on the Liberty Stage, Kevin Naquin & The Ossun Playboys will perform and at 6:30 p.m., on the Fred Charlie Stage, Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin Cajuns will entertain.
At 8:30 p.m. The Vermillionaires will perform on the Liberty Stage.
On Sunday, March 2 beginning at 10 a.m. there will be a Boucherie. At 10 a.m. Ryan Simon & Acadien will perform on the Liberty Stage. At 12 noon, on the Liberty Stage, Kegan Navarre & Louisiana Traditions will entertain the public.
At 12:30 p.m., on the Fred Charlie Stage, Kyle Huval will perform, and at 2 p.m. Leroy Thomas & The Zydeco Roadrunners will perform on the Liberty Stage.
At 3 p.m. There will be a Parade of Paws parade. Dogs of many breeds, sizes will be dressed in Mardi Gras attire and will parade down South 2nd.
At 2 p.m. TMonde will perform on the Fred Charlie Stage and at 4 p.m. Horace Trahan & The Ossun Express will entertain the crowd on the Liberty Stage.
On Monday, March 3 at 2:30 p.m. a performance by Jourdan Thibodeaux Et Les Rodailleurs will be on Liberty Stage.
At 3:30 p.m. Dave Et Ray & Camp Jam will perform and at 4 p.m. Morgan Lemelle & The Zydeco Playmakers will be on hand on the Liberty Stage.
At 6 p.m. Travis Matte & The Kingpins will perform on the Liberty Stage.
At 8 p.m. Rouge Krewe will perform on the Liberty Stage.
On Tuesday, March 4 beginning at 9:30 a.m. on the Liberty Stage there will be a performance by Dylan Aucoin & The Judice Ramblers, and at 10 a.m. Robert Jardell & Pure Cajuns will perform on the Fred Charlie Stage.
At 11 a.m. Wallace Trahan & Rice & Gravy will perform on the Liberty Stage and at noon Four Horses will entertain on the Fred Charlie Stage.
At 1:30 p.m. Paul Daigle & Cajun Gold will perform on the Liberty Stage.
At 2 p.m. A performance by Mais Oui will be held on the Fred Charlie Stage.
At 3 p.m. The traditional Courir de Mardi Gras parade will be held beginning at North 2nd will continue along downtown South 2nd and continue on Park Avenue.
At 4 p.m. Steve Riley & The Mamou Playboys will perform on the Liberty Stage.
At 6 p.m. Geno Delafose & French Rockin’ Boogie will perform at the Liberty Stage.
