Eunice Mayor Scott Fontenot said this year’s city budget may be challenging.
After Tuesday’s meeting, Fontenot said in the past the General Fund was augmented by a $450,000 transfer from the Utility Fund. That transfer is not possible due to the financing requirements of the wastewater treatment plant.
