The two men charged in connection with the May 2021 shooting death of a Rayne teenager are due back in court for a motions hearing on April 10.
Scott Cooper, of Church Point, and Robert Moreno, of Midland, Texas, were each indicted on a second-degree murder charge in July 2021 following the death of 17-year-old Garrison Gautreaux, a junior at Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish.
