Ministry seeks caps for children

In the rural villages of Guatemala the needs of the children are very great.
I work with the Animal Project of Mission Housing Ministries Inc. While serving in that capacity I have learned of many needs of these people. One of the needs is keeping the children warm during the night and early mornings. As part of a team that brought beanie caps, I quickly saw the need for more beanies than we had brought. It is because of that need I have set a goal of 1,000 beanie caps collected before I return in January.
These caps can be purchased for a dollar or less at Family Dollar, Walmart and other stores that sell children’s clothing. They cost a dollar or less.
How can you help?
1. Purchase these caps yourself and I will get them from you in whatever way works best for you.
2. You can send a check to me and I will purchase them for you. I have ordered 500 caps in faith that people will donate towards them.
I encourage you to look up Mission housing ministries at MHM-Guatemala.org; this organization is truly a non-profit as all money collected goes to their ministry in Guatemala. No one in the states benefits from the donations unless someone specifically donates to our “in-country expenses. That includes the president, board members or any other volunteers such as myself.
You can learn about my part in the animal project at Go Donate Me — Animal Project. I plan to update it soon and keep it updated with information about the program.
