FBC host Chonda Pierce movie Sunday
First Baptist Church in Eunice will host the viewing of Chonda Pierce’s movie, “Enough” at 6 p.m. Sunday.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m., One can purchase ticket/s online for $8-plus handling charges @ www.fbce.net/chonda or one can purchase tickets at the door that evening for $10.
The premiere of this movie was second film in the country and the Encore made the top 10. The “Chonda Pierce: Enough” movie puts the focus on Christ, and having a relationship with Christ as the only path to completeness and being Enough.

Basketball tournament to feature police, pastors
Leaders Building Leaders Basketball Tournament will feature Eunice pastors and police officers at 6:30 p.m. July 18 at New Zion Baptist Church’s Dr. J.G. Frank Building, 251 Nimitz St., Eunice.
Admission for children under 12 will be $3 and for $5 for those over 12 years old.

ECCBC announces Summer Concert, set July 13, 14
The ECCBC announces its Summer Concert, “Then Sings My Soul,” set for July 13, July 14 at 7 p.m. at the Liberty Center.
The concert will be presented by Community Choir, Concert Band, Children’s Choir.
There will also be an art exhibit by the Fine Arts Council of Eunice (FACE)

St. Thomas More KC BBQ sale set Sunday
The St. Thomas More Church Knights of Columbus will have a BBQ fundraiser on Sunday.
Tickets can be purchased at St. Thomas More office or from any KC member. Tickets will also be sold at each weekend Mass until July 9.
Tickets are $8 each. BBQ plates will include Boston Butt pork steacks with all trimmings.

Greater True Light Chorus Aug. 19
The Greater True Light Baptist Church in Eunnice will celebrate its 16th year Annual Male Chorus Musical on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 6 p.m.

Summer Fun Camp at Jean Lafitte set
The Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and Preserve’s Prairie Acadian Cultural Center in Eunice will accept applications for Camp Bonjour, a week long camp for kids ages 6-8, and 9-12.

FCWC co-ed softball tourney set July 15
Faith Christian Worship Center will sponsor a co-ed softball tournament July 15 at the Mamou ball park, 1513 Ortwein Road.

VFW bingo held Thursdays, Sundays
The VFW Post 8971 holds bingo for the public at 7 p.m. every Thursday and Sunday at the VFW Hall located on U.S. 190 East. All proceeds from Bingo games goes back to the community.
