Iry Lejeune honor set at Le Vieux Presbytère
Le Vieux Presbytère Museum, located at 205 Rue Iry Lejeune in Church Point, is scheduling a ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at which the Louisiana House of Representatives will honor the late Cajun musician Iry Lejeune, a native of Church Point. Iry’s son will receive the Louisiana legislature’s resolution of condolence at this ceremony.
