The St. Landry Parish Council deadlocked in voting for its chairman and vice chairman positions.
With Council member Easton Shelvin absent, the Council found itself tied 6-6 in the votes for its leadership.
The Council may vote again at a Jan. 31 meeting on the chairman and vice chairman positions.
