The St. Landry Parish Council approved hiring an attorney to pursue litigation regarding roof work at the Courthouse and jail.
The approval came after an executive session on March 6 during a special meeting.
The company hired to perform the work, Southside Roofing, has declared bankruptcy, said Parish President Jessie Bellard.
