BASILE~It is with heavy hearts that the family of Pat Hebert announce his passing on Wednesday, August 08, 2018 at Opelousas General Health System with loving family by his side. He was 63. A Celebration of Life will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Basile. Entombment will follow in the St. Augustine Mausoleum with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating.
Pat enjoyed hunting, cutting his grass and riding his side by side. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him especially his wife of thirty four years, Cindy Hebert of Basile; his two sons, Dwayne Hebert and wife, Catina of Basile and Jeremy Hebert and wife, Brandy of Iota; two daughters, Jessica Hebert and husband, Damon of Hathaway and Christina Hebert and husband, Rick Adams of Basile; six brothers, James Hebert and wife, Panzy of Basile, Charles Hebert and wife, Bonnie of Welsh, Lynn Hebert and wife, Beth, Harold Hebert and Gregory Hebert and companion, Priscilla all of Basile and Billy Hebert of Moss Bluff; two sisters, Catherine Deville and husband, Leon of Moss Bluff and Pam Pelsia and husband, Blake of Basile; fifteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren; as well as extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elroy and Attie Fruge Hebert; his son, Nicholas Hebert; brother, Steve Hebert and a sister, Faye Hebert.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9th from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm and again on Friday, August 10th from 8:00 am until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin will lead a Rosary at 7:00 pm on Thursday.
