Qualifying dates for two elections on March 25 in St. Landry Parish were announced by Charles Jagneaux, St. Landry Parish clerk of court.
Qualifying is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 11 to 13 at the clerkâs office, Room 207, St. Landry Parish Courthouse.
Election will be for Melville Town Council; and constable and justice of the peace in District 8.
The Melville qualifying fee is $80 and the fees for both District 8 election is $150.

Fees must be paid by cash, certified check, check on a state or national ban or credit union, U.S. postal money order, or money order issued by a state or national bank.
Candidates should have their voters registration card.
