An amendment to the 2022 – 2023 city budget will give all elected officials in Rayne a pay boost.
The amendment adopted by a 4-1 vote during Monday night’s council meeting will cost the general fund an estimated $26,544, according to the budget message presented to council members by City Clerk Annette Cutrera.
