The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) is shown in the Norfolk, Virginia, Naval Shipyard. The “Ike” and its strike group were scheduled to deploy to U.S. 6th Fleet Friday, while the Ford Carrier Strike Group also operates in the Mediterranean Sea, according to Navy Times.
