St. Landry Parish sales tax collections started the year off on a strong note with the January collections totaling $8,525,245, up 8% over the January 2021 total.
The parish’s January collections were up $1,475,297 or 21% over the December total.
The trend continues from the yearly total. In 2021, the parish annual total was $85,658,162, up $7,949,163 or 10.2% over the 2020 total.
