The St. Landry Parish Government is issuing sand bags for parish residents starting at 1 p.m.
St. Landry Parish Government crews have begun filling sandbags to prepare for flooding of Tropical Depression 9.
After 1 p.m. sandbags can be picked up at the Yambilee Building located at 1939 W. Landry St. (U.S. 190) in Opelousas.
