The election Saturday drew 2,793 early votes, according to the Louisiana Secretary of State’s geauxvote.com website.
Early voting ended on March 16 with polls in Eunice and Opelousas.
The in-person count was 1,626 votes. Another 1,167 absentee votes have been cast.
