In a special meeting on Monday, the St. Landry Parish School Board approved hiring a second coordinator of personnel recruitment if a study finds it is needed and if funds are available.
Board member Renee Aymond said, “If we already have the job description then we don’t have to vote anything.”
She added, “I mean Mr. Batiste has the authority to hire who he wants to hire.”
