The St. Landry Parish School Board in an 8-4 voted for a school plan that will build four kindergarten to fourth grade schools if a tax proposal passes on March 26.
The sticking point to a unanimous consent was on whether to build two K-4 schools in the Beau Chene High School zone.
The $150 million building plan now goes to voters with one K-4 school proposed in the Eunice, Lawtell, Opelousas …
