The push for a capital improvements at St. Landry Parish public schools began publicly in April 2021 with a presentation involving high school principals about the school tracks and other facilities.
Eunice High Principal Mitch Fontenot said at a School Board meeting his school’s track is the best in the parish, but presents safety hazards.
