All active full-time St. Landry Parish School Board employees as of May 31 are to receive a $1,000 stipend in June.
The School Board’s Finance Committee recommended the payment be approved by the full Board at its May 2 meeting.
Shaun Grantham, finance director, said it will be the sixth and final stipend paid from federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund.
