Community service honored at Eunice city meeting

Five community service awards were presented at the Eunice Board of Aldermen’s meeting Thursday.
As Alderwoman Germaine Simpson read the names, Mayor Scott Fontenot did the honors to individuals and groups.
“We have a lot of things going on here in Eunice. There is always talk about the negative and bad things, but there is more good things going on in Eunice than bad,” Simpson said.
