A complaint that a solar farm in the Plaisance area lowered property values was countered by Parish President Jessie Bellard.
“The property values in those areas have gone up,” he said about the land changing from farm to commercial assessments.
Doris White, who said she lives near at 1,300-acre BP site off U.S. 167, said the panels lower the standard of living in her area.
