St. Landry Parish President Jessie Bellard reissued a burn ban for the parish on Thursday.
That followed two rural fire on Wednesday. Bellard said about 100 acres burned in the Big Cane area of north St. Landry Parish.
Another 10 acres burned off Guillory Road east of Eunice, he said.
Bellard said rain on Thursday helped, but did not fully alleviate the risk of fire.
