OPELOUSAS — A St. Landry Parish jury has convicted Lance Scott Richard, 41, of Sunset, of four counts of Sexual Battery of a Child under the age of 13.
The jury returned the unanimous guilty verdicts late last Friday, May 23, 2026. Richard was acquitted on one additional count of oral sexual battery of a child under 13.
