Sales tax collections in St. Landry Parish began the year with a 5.3% increase in January compared to January 2022.
The January total for the parish was $8,977,428, up from January 2022’s $8,525,245, a $4452,183 increase. From December 2022, the total monthly increase was $2,189,883.
