An ordinance is being crafted that will make new demands on boards and commissions appointed by the St. Landry Parish Council.
An ordinance has been introduced to impose accountability and transparency to about 50 boards and commissions created by the Parish Council.
At Wednesday’s meeting the ordinance was tabled at the request of Council member Ken Marks, the legislation’s sponsor.
