There are many activities that make up the annual La. Swine Festival held in Basile every first weekend of November. The first of these competitions is the talent show, which will take place this year at 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Basile High School gym and is open to amateur performers through high school age. Each act is limited to five minutes.
