The Crowley Rotary Club recently welcomed City Council members Sammie Reggie, III, (left) and Kim Stringfellow (right) as guest speakers at a meeting held last week. The council members discussed the upcoming Cleanest City Contest in which, for the first time in many years, the City of Crowley is participating. The contest will be held on Tuesday, March 26. The council members urge all residents to tidy up homes and business, including waiting until Tuesday night to put trashcans at the road. The contest judges will be in town Tuesday morning exploring various parts of town. The city held a city-wide cleanup day Sunday, March 24, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. meeting at the Wells Fargo meeting.
