The executive director of the St. Landry Parish Tourism Commission asked the Parish Council to appoint Alisha Mire to the commission.
The appointment is to be decided at the Sept. 15 meeting of the Parish Council.
Herman Fuselier, executive director, asked the Council to keep Eunice in mind with the appointment to fill a seat held by Lynn LeJeune, who is resigning from the commission.
