The first Vet Fest at LSUE planned May 14 is intended to offer veterans access to benefits and other resources in a one-day event.
“We just hope the veterans come out and take part in this and participate and find out what they are entitled to. They earned and they deserve it,” said Donnie Fontenot, VFW Post 8971 commander.
