The Tri-Parish workforce grew by 778 people and the jobless rates were down in May compared to a year ago, according to the Louisiana Workforce Commission.
The Tri-Parish workforce number 68,618 in May, up from 67,840 a year ago.
The workforce includes people employed and those looking for a job.
