Louisiana Department of Health announces COVID-19 testing in Acadiana region for beginning of January
Baton Rouge, La. (December 30, 2020) — COVID-19 testing at all Louisiana Army National Guard (LANG) sites and parish health units will be paused on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
Dates and times for COVID-19 testing sites operated by LANG in the Acadiana region for the week of Jan. 4 to 8 are listed below. These sites are closed during state holidays and inclement weather.
As Louisiana heads into the New Year, the best way to show your loved ones you care is to reduce the likelihood that you spread COVID to them. Celebrate at home with your immediate household and continue to take precautions: practice social distancing, wear a mask and wash your hands. If you have been exposed or have symptoms of COVID-19, get tested.
Pre-registration for COVID-19 testing is encouraged by going to Health.QuestDiagnostics.com/STLOU. Testing is for ages 3 and older. There is no cost, and no identification is needed. Test results are available by calling 1-866-MYQUEST (1-866-697-8378), but note that wait times can be lengthy. Test results are also available through the Quest online portal or app.
