Kasey Andrepont is Teacher of the Year at Eunice High

Kasey Andrepont is Eunice High School’s Teacher of the Year.
Andrepont’s teaching career began at Eunice High School in 2013. She earned an associate of liberal arts degree in 2009 at Louisiana State University at Eunice and went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in the arts at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2012.
Andrepont teaches English II classes.
She is a proud Ragin’ Cajun alumni member. Before working at Eunice High, Andrepont found her passion for teaching while she was working at St. Thomas More in Eunice as the Lifeteen Director from 2009-2014.
During her years at Eunice High, she had sponsored the Emerald’s Dance Team and is currently one of the sponsors for the Student Council.
The principal at Eunice High School, Mitchell Fontenot, said, “Kasey is an outstanding teacher and even more an outstanding person. She is the type of teacher that every parent hopes would teach their child. She brings so much to students and to Eunice High School. I am extremely lucky to have her as a teacher and a friend.”
She is married to coach and councilman Chad Andrepont and they have four children. While away from school, she enjoys playing guitar and volunteering with the youth group and worship team at her church New Hope Fellowship.
